Prophecy: Let Peace Rule in Your Heart
The following prophetic word boomed forth in our church last Sunday morning. The Lord, knowing that we were all grieved by the lies pouring out from the mainstream media against our President, Christians and the patriots in our nation, wanted to warn us to guard our hearts and beware of having ungodly emotional responses to what is being said and done by evil people.
This is a time when the enemy is going to try to bring you into all manner of worldliness. He wants to bring you attitudes and emotions that will just drive you and drive you—drive you and drive you. He wants to bring fear and anger and frustration and all of these emotions onto you. But I say unto you, Peace I give unto you; peace I have brought to you, not as the world gives do I give to you, but I give you my peace, my peace. Oh, I tell you my children do not allow, do not allow anger to enter your system where the enemy can grab a stronghold onto you. Do not let bitterness grab hold of you.
Oh, my children, I warn you, I warn you, I warn you. This is a time of deception; this is the age of the biggest deception that you will face. I tell you I want you to lean on me, lean on me.
Oh you have sung today that you want me more than any other. Let that be in your heart as you seek me more than any other. You want to seek vengeance because of what is being done in this land, but you need to leave that up to me. I tell you I will bring my peace upon you, I will bring my peace upon you and that peace will keep the enemy from getting ahold of you and bringing you down.
I am warning you, people, I am warning you. This is the enemy’s day, and he is going to try to steal every child of mine but I will not let him have you, I will not let him have you. But you must prepare your hearts not to let bitterness or vengeance or anger enter your heart. I tell you I want you to seek me more than any other and my peace will be with you.
God wants us to trust in him and pray about everything. First, we are not to believe every article or video posted on the Internet conservative news sites. We must pray first for discernment because there is so much being put out there, some of which is true and some which is not true, that we will be deceived if we are not careful. And definitely we should not be watching any mainstream media news programs. They are spewing out lies
Second, we must be careful that the time we spend with the Lord does not get usurped by our urgent desire to see what is going on politically. When I get up every morning, the first thing I want to do is see what might have happened news-wise overnight. However, I am disciplining myself to do my usual routine of prayer, Bible study and writing before checking the news.
Some people may choose not to watch any news but just focus on God and work on pressing into the Kingdom. That is fine if that is what the Lord leads you to do. However, my husband and I feel called to spiritual warfare—warfare that is focused on details of what is going on at the time.
Each of us should follow the Lord’s leading, but as the prophecy warns, we must guard our hearts against anger, frustration and even the desire for vengeance or hatred. If we give into those emotions and thoughts we may find ourselves putting up sinful attitudes that block our ability to commune with God. And, God forbid, we might start behaving like the enemies of our republic who have riled us up in the first place!
